Just a couple minutes walk to the clock tower and the main markets, even if the few roads right around it are decidedly unlovely. Only complaint: they have local musicians and dancing every night at dinnertime. "This feels like a harsh rating, after seeing so many high ratings, but I was pretty disappointed with my stay here. I visited many other Havelis in Jodhpur, to eat at their rooftop restaurants, and all of them were cleaner, had more staff working, and had other people staying there. "I enjoyed my stay at the Krishna Prakash Haveli very much. The staff worked hard to make sure the place was clean and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the area was walkable to the clock tower, markets and Fort, if you don't mind a little uphill. I actually walked halfway to the Fort every morning to see the sunrise. The views of the Fort from the haveli are beautiful, especially at night, and my room, 134, even had a small balcony to sit on with a view of the Fort. Highly...

"Our room was clean, our bed was comfortable but we were on the ground floor and it was very noisy as it’s the way in and out of the hotel. It is in a great position for walking around the old town. Breakfast was ok, eggs, toast, pancakes and fruit in the roof top restaurant with lovely view of the fort. Wi-fi wasn’t great kept dropping out. Despite the room location and bad wi-fi I would recommend this hotel "

"This is a beautiful Haveli, which looks like a palace in a great location, just inside the city wall and very close to all the sights. However, the rooms themselves are very basic, very run down and not very clean. After they checked me in and gave me my room, they later told me I shouldn't be in an AC room and they would charge me extra. I refused, pointing out I was simply in the room they gave me.
