"It's a relatively small room with a bed on a mezzanine level. Stairs are steep to the bed, but fine if you free up on a boat. The tap in the kitchen worked but was not attached to the sink - some plumbing needed. The studio was cleaned, but could do with a lick of paint, especially on the door which looked as though it had been attacked by a mythical creature in a Ben Aaronovitch novel. The people in the room/flat above us were kind enough to ensure we knew we weren't alone, and trekked back...

"We booked a family room at W6 Hotel Hammersmith for late June/early July 2026 with our infant and 12-year-old. The W6 Hotel experience was likely the worst we have ever had (and we've stayed in London several times in budget-friendly properties, no complaints). On arrival the basement room was so dirty, smelly and unliveable that we left after only five minutes and moved to a Holiday Inn for the night.
