"Nice safe place. Grounds could use some better upkeep. Had to ask to have the garbage emptied by the water, but gave them credit for having it done when I mentioned it. Never filled up the fish food which would have been fun to try. Island Fish Co was within walking distance. Had two nice dinners there and a good breakfast. Prices were fair for a restaurant on the water. The little community behind it has a small “Sunset beach” which is apparently a public beach and was nice."

"This small property has clean, well-maintained rooms in a beautiful spot in marathon. We appreciated ease of using kayaks and paddleboards. We decided to stay 2 nights. Staff was very accommodating. We had to switch rooms, and they prioritized cleaning our new room so we could easily move from one to another. Love the 60's feel of the architecture and the privacy. "
