Once again my husband and I stayed at Anchorage 1770 for the Beaufort air show. What a lovely, unique place to stay. From check in to departure, everything was wonderful. The rooms are special and unique. The bed was super comfortable and the upgraded bathroom was perfect. We enjoyed all the thoughtful touches that the owners manage to provide. Breakfast was delicious - compliments to the Chef!

What a wonderful place to stay! Room was beautiful. Bed super comfy. Owners were lovely! So friendly!!! Loved the cookies at turn down. Morning breakfast was delish. Rooftop and porch were lovely and relaxing. Loved the view of the marina, water and sunset. Downtown Beaufort was one block away. Can’t say enough positive things!!!

Amazing hotel with very friendly staff. The breakfast was amazing and included. If I had one suggestion it would be to wipe down the furniture on the porches on 2nd floor they never were cleaned during the 3 nights we stayed there.

We’ve been visiting Beaufort, SC for a couple of years now and really love the city. Good food, nice people, historic and beautiful. This was our first visit to the Anchorage 1770, but it will not be our last! Very lovely place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts are terrific! The property was beautifully decorated - not overdone but quite lovely. The breakfast was excellent! We enjoyed our stay with two additional couples. Bike the Spanish moss trail - the hotel has bikes or you can rent from a nearby business. We walked (or biked!) to everything.

If you decide to stay at this B&B, make sure you don’t stay on the first floor. The two rooms on the first floor are adjacent to the kitchen and very noisy. The owner of this place needs to decide if they are going to be a Band B or a restaurant. They open the restaurant in the evening and it really overtakes the entire property. Hope that helps.
