"15 minute walk to amenities which was fine for us . Close to major attractions. Really useful having the laundry as it was half way through our holiday. Didn’t have breakfast used kitchen in room. Only criticism would be that the pillows were very soft"

"I have never had an experience like this at a hotel. After an exhausting day, I returned to the hotel around 11 PM and discovered that my door key was not working. I tried several times, but I could not get into my room. The reception is not available after 6 PM, so I called customer service. There are two phone lines, English and German. I called the English line several times, but no one answered. I then called the German line, and finally someone picked up. I explained that I was locked out...

"When I arrived, I discovered that I couldn't flush the toilet. The flush button and its components were just laying on the washbasin, leaving a hole where the button should have been. The reception staff could not offer me another room. Later that night, I woke up and saw bedbugs in my bed. Although the reception was easily reachable by phone and WhatsApp, they were unable to offer an alternative at that time. I checked out the next morning and received a refund, which was handled quickly."
