"Having stayed here in the past we were familiar with this beautiful property, its picturesque location and range of amenities so we chose to stay here again. Unfortunately there was no hot water when we tried to shower before bed and due to the location of the geyser (in the upstairs unit) it couldn’t be sorted until the morning. "We fell in love with Leeu House. The staff were so friendly and so helpful - preempting our needs before we even asked. Going above and beyond to help us with reservations (including a last minute request to help us find somewhere to watch the sunset!). The grounds are absolutely beautiful, as are the rooms. Feels like a little sanctuary but still walking distance from all the best restaurants, galleries and the wine tram. Highly highly recommend. Only thing is we wish the pool was heated!"

"The owner Ivan is very friendly and is involved in making guests feel comfortable. The unit was not in such a clean condition upon arrival (carpet, curtains and flies)and the cleaning policy states that no cleaning takes place during the weekend and the towels only get changed after 3 days. The lodge is quite secluded and peaceful, with the closest beach being a 6km drive away. There are 2 swimming pools (albeit small) on site that you can also enjoy should you not wish to drive to the beach."
