I absolutely loved my room at Naca Suite and am so glad I spent a little extra to stay there. The staff was very helpful and I was able to communicate with them easily via WhatsApp. I got in early and was able to leave my luggage until I could check in later in the afternoon.
The room was spacious, the jet tub was clean and worked perfectly, the shower was nice and the bed was very comfortable. I had a small patio overlooking the street with a view of the tip of Mt Etna. Two bottles of water, a mini bottle of prosecco and breakfast were included in the room. When I told staff that I had to leave for the airport before breakfast would be served the following morning, they brought me a tray the night before.
The place could have been difficult to find, however staff sent very clear photos showing how to access it. It was close (10 minute walk max) to the duomo and fish market. Although the area wasn't super quiet in the evening (Catania comes alive around 10pm) with the patio door shut it was plenty quiet enough in the room.
To get to the airport the following day was also super easy, there's a stop about 2 blocks away for the bus shuttle which takes about 20 minutes to get to the airport for 4 euro.
