"Amazing stay as always! Would go back as much as i could!"

"We have visited The Lakeside Hotel a few times now - last year we did the murder mystery event which was good and great value for money with evening meal, overnight stay and breakfast included so I would recommend. Most recent stay 22nd Feb 2 nights as a family and our friends family from Sweden - overall great hotel and the kids loved it. The only down side I would say is some (not all) of the restaurant/bar staff are laxidazy when it came to taking orders a few of our orders for breakfast...

"The hotel is located on the main road into Windermere and has its own parking. Check in was fast and the receptionist was very helpful. I was a little disappointed as I didn’t realise that access to the pool with kids is only between 9am - 1pm so we had to move our plans around and take the kids the following morning. The room was fantastic, it was spotless and very spacious. It was nice and warm and included all the necessary essentials to make it a comfortable stay. The leisure centre is...

"Place is good for a place to rest your head. Basic but in a good way and the staff are friendly. Not gonna blow your mind but it doesn't need too. "

"Love the hotel room the four poster bed with the lake view. Great location, very close to the shopping area, cafes, bars, restaurants & the lake. Breakfast need to improve, very standard, not many options. We extended our stay, but we were little bit disappointed how the house keeping tidy up our bed. Should be the same quality as we checked in, not very tidy as supposed to be, specially with the room we paid."

"Really good location for exploring Keswick and the area. Close to town centre, rooms clean and fairly spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food really good quality and with some vegetarian options. Drinks from the bar not too expensive. The only downside is some of the hotel looks somewhat "tired" and could do with upgrading. All in all, a really nice place to have a break."
