"Beautiful surroundings, able to walk freely enjoying the scenery. The property itself was lovely apart from a few mishaps inside the room for staff to consider. Part of the panelling that separated the dining area and living room space was a constant trip hazard, this was extremely dangerous, also the living room radiator was continually on making staying in the room extremely uncomfortable with to much heat. Apart from that the living quarters were good."

"Visiting Bath for a rugby match meant the hotel was in a great location. Easy walking distance to the Rex. Easy walking distance to all the bars shops and restaurants. Lovely welcome from staff in reception, friendly bar staff - delicious food and food menu in the evening although some choices were not available at 8pm on a Saturday night despite there being only 3 tables filled. Great breakfast buffet. Only complaint for the weekend was reporting the toilet flush/ cistern not working properly...

"A beautiful hotel. The room was lovely, everything was very clean, the pool and spa area were great (we even used the outdoor pool as it was heated!) and the staff were all friendly and very helpful. It was about a 15 minute walk into the very centre of Bath through a nice park and less than 5 minutes in a taxi which we got in the evening. Would definitely recommend."

"An incredible property surrounded by magnificent gardens. Fabulous breakfast. Rooms a little small for the price. Reception staff were efficient and courteous, but not overly welcoming/friendly. Exceptional organisation and management (Elvis and team) of the wedding celebration activities in the Orangery deserve an extra special mention. "
