"Great place to stay. It was clean and all that was promised in the listing. The location was amazing as it is basically on the side of the mountain it this cute village area. Be sure to make certain the road access from Airlo is open! Google maps will take you up to a snow closed road in the winter. Turning around on this narrow road at night is sketchy. I did get a what’s app message, but it was too late as I already drive up the wrong way. I do appreciate the effort to let me know. ...

"Gute Lage, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen, sauber, essen sehr gut Die Zimmer sowie ihre Ausstattung haben ihre Zeit hinter sich. Es gibt sogar Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad, das habe ich ja schon lange nicht mehr gesehen und ist eigentlich auch bei den hiesigen Preisen inakzeptabel. Die Matratzen waren der Horror. Eine kleine Variation von Freigetränken auf dem Zimmer ist eine sehr nette Geste!"

"Luckily we arrived in daylight, as the road up to the Osteria zig-zagged in impossible hairpins up from the valley. It's possible that after dark and unlit we might just have turned around and headed for somewhere flat. However, if we had done we would have missed a completely unique experience. The hamlet of Anzonico clings to the side of an Alp and there is no vehicle access to the Osteria. Parking is in a lay by about 50 yards further up. Having walked back with our luggage, we were greeted...

En effet les clés sont dans des box à code et nous n’avions pas reçu le code… et le numéro de téléphone de la réservation n’était pas le bon… Toutefois tout s’est bien fini avec un responsable fort sympathique."
