"We got a spacious family room in the first floor with natural light and views of the mountain across the valley. Unfortunately, it was not sound proof and one could hear music from the hotel bar until around midnight. Good breakfast w several options. We enjoyed the proximity to the slopes, the indoor pool and the bowling alley. Dinner at the hotel was good, specially the service. "

"Wonderful hotel and staff, the two restaurants were very good and we loved the place. The concierge helped us get round trip tix on the daily Hurtigruten/Havila fjord cruise (part of their Norwegian coastal journey has them come into Alesund in the AM and then go down the fjord and back to Alesund that evening). "Kim (proprietor) was a most gracious host and a great help to us during our stay. The accommodations were comfortable and unique. The food was 5 star. We had dinner 3 nights and each were exceptional! Breakfast (included with our stay) was delicious and started our day off right. Would recommend a stay and/or dinner to anyone looking for a ski in/out hyatta. "
