"So here’s the thing: This place probably used to be majestic, and the more people that stay there, the better I assume it will get, from the revenue generated. It’s currently mid-renovation, and only one of the big houses is even open. So you’re basically getting a studio apartment (maybe there are bigger suites) on the side of a Caribbean mountain (my cabbie said, “this is just a little hill…”). You CAN see the city and the water, but neither is all that close so rent your own car or spend more...

"I am a medical doctor of Jamaican origin who eagerly planned this vacation for a medical conference. The resort grounds were well manicured, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, all staff tended to defer to White guests over Black guests, although Black guests may have been first in line. Overall, a good experience."

"I like the viewof the water being so far up in the mountains. The breakfast was the same thing everyday except for the pastry. But had to taxi to get downtown . And it started to become costly. Nice rooms for the price and the staff was helpful during their work hours. "
