"Stayed here a few times. It's an affordable, dog-friendly hotel in a fairly quiet area. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Staff are helpful, and the lift was working this time. The only minor annoyances about the room were that it was a tiny bit cold even with the lukewarm radiator fully on; and one of the old spotlight bulbs wasn't working so it was a bit dark (seems like a no-brainer to put LEDs in, unless people nick them or something). "I had a comfortable couple of nights here. The room was fine and had everything I needed. Breakfast was OK. The best thing for me was the position of the hotel: about ten minutes' easy walk from the station and - better still! - just a few yards from Leicester's wonderful Curve Theatre. The price of my stay was minimal and I would certainly stay here again when attending something at the theatre."

"We attended the Salsa New Year party. Our room 103 was clean but there was really bad mold against the whole of the wall on the window. Staff were friendly. Good breakfast. If we weren't in rush with new year eve festivities we would have askex for another room. But the hotel was also fully booked. Damp needs to be addressed in this room. We could've get into pool as 1 hour slots and pool was full due to new years. Everything else was okay. "

"We did enjoy our 11 night stay but felt the room wasn't adequate for such a long stay. We did see if we could move/upgrade whilst we were there but felt the superior rooms were an odd shape with even less floor space and the couch didn't even face the TV. "Overall a lovely stay at the wyken inn. Check in was fast and friendly. Hotel room was clean and tidy. A few black marks on the sheets but nothing grim. Felt comfortable and safe during my stay. Hearing doors slamming very loudly at very early hours in the corridor was the only downside, I understand that this is unavoidable in most hotels. Absolutely fabulous facilities for the price. I know where I will be staying if I find myself in Coventry again! "
