"I found this property last Fall when I was in town on short notice. Being a small businessman myself, I always try and support non franchise hotels when possible. "Enroute to the motel, I took a look at some prior reviews and got real nervous. Luckily, I found them to be very misleading (false even.) Cons - Entering the room (#1) it smelled like cigarettes. The southwest corner of the ceiling looked like it could fall in. The shower is very small. The commode space is even smaller. There was no soap provided. "Soooo the motel is in the middle of reconstruction. The rooms are great, modern, big, comfortable beds, lovely floors in bathroom, good amenities. Microwave, fridge coffeemaker, big tv. The other parts of motel are being remodeled.
