A beautiful private spot, for a step up from camping, the cabin offered a more spacious 'clamping' space which was perfect for a rainy afternoon and night without being stuck in a tent in bad weather! Felt like we spent the weekend transported back in time to before electricity and in the warmth of a very eclectic internal fireplace. When it wasn't raining, we enjoyed having an outdoor fire, could look up at the stars and listen to the local night wildlife. The shower was nice and hot, and the short walk to the seperate toilet outside wasn't a problem, and although the cabin did not have fly screens, we barely needed to use a mosquito coil to keep any bugs away after dark. The kids loved it, especially the bunk beds, and said they didn't want to leave!
