"Keeping in mind that this is a small family run hotel in the Avila old town I am giving it my highest rating. This is not an international style 5 star, so don’t expect that. First the staff, some of which I presume are the owners, (José, Ricardo, Diego, Victor and one whose name I missed) were extremely helpful and friendly. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. "The hotel itself was sparkling clean and a great location. I didn't find any place to control the temperature, though, and had to cycle through opening the windows (noisy) or closing them (hot), and this was in February. Also, the bed top slid off when I tried to get out of bed in the morning, and I fell on the floor. But the host was very kind, and helpful with directions."
