"2bed room well appointed and big. Bathroom was roomy. Lobby was inviting. The art room in back was spacious and quiet. Very clean and well kept. Good selection of food, coffee close. MTA/Queens plaza was 5 block walk. I will definitely revisit The Modernist on my next visit. Neighborhood is walkable, quiet and safe. Very pleasant. "

"Voco in Astoria is a great place to stay. It’s less than a year old and the rooms are soundproof. Across from me was the subway track and I could barely hear it. It was probably one of of best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel room. The restaurant serves dinner and breakfast. The food and atmosphere was amazing as well as the excellent Customer Service by the entire staff throughout the hotel. It’s a short walking distance to a subway entrance. I will definitely be returning there."

"Excelente opción de hospedaje si vas a NYC. Las instalaciones del hotel muy bonitas, camas y almohadas cómodas para un buen descanso, desayuno incluido y lo mejor de todo, a una cuadra de una estación de metro en la que te puedes mover prácticamente a todos tus destinos. Tomando ese metro estás a 20 min de Times Square. Los alrededores del hotel se sentían muy seguros y había cerca dos tiendas deli donde comprar snacks y alimentos a precio justo, considerando que todo es caro en NYC....

"This is a small hotel in good condition. Only issues were lack electric plugs (old hotel) and lack of exhaust fan in windowless bathroom. Places to eat were within a couple of blocks. Nearby subway allowed for quick access to JFK or Times Square. Thought hotel was pricey, but that can change with time of year."

"The hotel itself is not bad, but the surrounding area is like in the middle of a construction site. People are paving roads right outside of my window at 10:30pm and I can smell the smoke and feel the vibration. You can also hear the loud train horns in the middle of the night. The hotel is clean and affordable, staff is friendly."
