"Stay was ok, i am vegetarian and it was like being an after thought. One choice on the menu which was pasta. I gad a starter as a main coursein the end. No alternatives for a vegetarian breakfast. I justvthink its a bit poor. I pay the same as others and there is no alternative "

"My friends and I had a great three nights at the King's Head. The accommodation was good with a sizable and clean room. The breakfast was great with a lot of variety. We ate in the restaurant twice during our stay and the menu was varied and quality was good. The hotel bar serves a wide selection of spirits and wine and the beer from the two local breweries was excellent. "

"Lovely, friendly staff. Took the dog and there was a bowl, blanket and biscuit waiting for her. Pool is to die for - warm and inviting. Dined out so can't comment on the evening meal, but breakfast was tasty. They allowed us to eat in the snug with the dog and even gave her a sausage, which was appreciated. The only negative I can think of, is that the pillows were on the hard side. The room was spacious and clean."

"Late arrival and early out but was still welcomed by Alice the owner. Breakfast was offered and even provided at an earlier time than normally given, for which I was very grateful. A great cooked breakfast kicked off my morning and soon I was on my way. This was a perfect location to break up a long North to South journey. Very pleasant indeed. "I found the Old Oak Tree team to be very welcoming. The room size was fantastic as was the breakfast. The pub does evening meals and has a great choice of dishes to suit all palates. Whilst booking a table is definitely recommended as the venue is very popular both locally and further afield for their dishes. I can highly recommend the Old Oak Tree, I will certainly be staying there again. The Old Oak Tree is in the perfect location for exploring North Yorkshire. "
