"Eine ganz wundervolle Unterkunft! Wir haben uns sofort total wohl gefühlt, der Empfang war sehr herzlich und unser Bungalow mit dem Ausblick war ein Traum. Es gab jeden Tag kostenloses Wasser und die best gefüllte Minibar die wir je gesehen haben, zu absolut fairen Preisen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann gleich vor Ort einen Roller mieten und die Hotelhunde waren ganz zauberhaft! Wir wurden auf kurzfristige Anfrage vom Pier abgeholt, sowie auch wieder zurück...

"Vi hade bokat ett Delux Room with seaview. Bodde i hotelldelen. Rummet var fräscht, balkong med utsikt mot poolen och havet. Frukosten var bra. Både västerländsk frukost och thai. Solstolar både vi havet och vid poolen. Strand/pool handukar fanns till förfogande. Enda nackdelen var egentligen Wi-fi som man behövde logga in var 20 minut för att kunna använda. Efter 21.00 på kvällen var det in princip omöjligt att använda wi-fi eftersom alla använder samma nät."

"A-Nay-Lay is a beautiful little resort located in a calm little bay. The snorkelling there is wonderful so bring your mask and fins. The food is edible, but nothing to write home about and bring your own coffee. There’s a little store close, so you can go and buy the things you need. They rent scooters so you can get around and the staff is lovely! "

"Honestly, this place is amazing. The staff are wonderful. I have toured most of the island and pretty much every resort has been a bit run down and dirty, but Shantaa is clean. The staff are out every morning picking up any leaves that have fallen in the night and cleaning up any garbage that has washed up on the beach. From front desk, to restaurant staff, to the cleaning staff, everyone has been amazing. Do not hesitate to stay here. The food is amazing too. If there were a larger beach this...

"I can't recommend this hotel even though it's a nice property due to the fact that it is too far off the main road and the road is in poor condition. Too bad."

"Staff was not accommodating at all. Out of all of our stops in Thailand, this resort was by far the our least favourite and the least friendly. We had some sort of large rodent living in our attic that squealed and scratched most of the night and the resort staff told us they couldn’t do anything about “nature”."

"Staff was very professional and warm, greeted us at arrival, told us everything we needed to know and was happy to answer all questions. Rooms were spacious, with pool access out of the room being the highlight, great big bathroom with showers/massive tub. I don't want to knock the place down any stars as my only complaint was extremely smalls ants on the desktop that I noticed after check in, the room is on a tropical island with tons of insects everywhere so I don't think much can be done...
