"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "

"The setting was beautiful as was the lodge for the most part, only complaints are the pull out bed in the living room and would of been nice if the hosts warmed the cabin up before arrival"

"Awful! After numerous attempts to find out how to get access to the property (phone calls/voicemail/messages/what's app) I had to check my family (Me, my Wife my 4 year old and 6 year old) into a hotel at 8pm. When I finally got a response to my messages my children were asleep in the hotel room. The person who contacted me still failed to provide any method of me accessing the property. "Spent 2 nights here recently visiting relatives in the area and loved it. Very clean, modern and comfortable and we felt very at home. All the kitchen amenities that you would need and a walk in shower to die for. We will definitely book again when in the area."

"Apartment was lovely - they had thought of everything, but what then let it down, was the use of cheap blinds that were almost see through and poorly fitting, and no curtains in the bedroom! There was also an overwhelming smell of what seemed to be damp. The apartment was really well thought out and very comfortable, but just let down by those 2 things."

"I had a 2 night stay with a friend whilst attending a funeral locally. The room was clean and tidy and good sized. we had a meal in the restaurant with other fiends (8of us). Most of us had a good experience. But 3 had an issue with the steaks ordered. They found them to be a little tough to eat. The others all enjoyed what they had ordered. The stay was comfortable and the breakfast buffet had a good selection. There was ample parking,"

"Staff were very helpful and friendly the phoned me before my stay to sort out a accessible room. The shower was amazing very powerful with 2 different heads to use, the beds were very comfortable and looked like a new carpet. Has a big car park so parking no problem and was free with the stay. Breakfast was very good not a huge selection of pastries or bread and scrambled eggs were alittle wet. I did here someone asked for fried and they wete very happy to do that, so I would ask next time. "
