"Beautiful room with two balconies and lovely furnishings. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was cavernous. The hotel is in a wonderfully decorated historic building in the center of town. A perfect place from which to enjoy Santillana Del Mar. The only point against them is that there is no coffee maker or kettle in the room. Parking available in their lot for a small charge. "

"En general muy buena estancia. El hotel es muy bonito y tranquilo en el centro de Santillana. Tiene un personal muy bueno, que intenta ayudar en lo que necesites y es de agradecer. El problema es que al ser una casa palaciega no está totalmente, acondicionada en sus habitaciones, para ofrecer una estancia de 5 estrellas, es más de 4. En la habitación hace frio porque la calefacción no funciona bien y tienes que llamar a recepción para que suban a verificarlo. en nuestro caso no hubo calefacción...

"The hotel has no onsite front desk. Our room was a 1 bedroom ground floor suite. The unit is dated but in good condition and clean. Oddly it didn’t have hand soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Parking is underground and there is surface street parking. I called the hotel walkable and it is to a point. The beach is 5 minutes down the road whereas the downtown restaurant area is about 20 minutes away. If you’re using Google Maps and taking the shortest route carry a flashlight for the walk...
