"Be aware. This is a low-rise building in the east village. There is street noise. But that’s what you get when you stay on a real New York block, near NYU and awesome restaurants and such. The hotel’s communication is excellent. Rooms are small (it’s New York City!), but comfortable, functional, and clean. If you’re here to be a part of “real” New York, you’ll embrace the (supplied) earplugs and the street noise that New Yorkers accept as part of life. And if that’s you, you’ll love this place...

"Fantastic well appointed apartments and updated amenities with full kitchen, good quality beds, nice gym, small but convenient business center and super friendly staff (every single front desk employee both daytime and evening are welcoming and helpful). Only one negative is laundry room, although very convenient, machines and overall laundry could use an upgrade. In general the hotel is quiet despite the busy rooftop restaurant. "

"Great property. Had warnings about noise on the confirmation email but we found it no nosier than other NYC locations. Great location and feels safer than other parts of manhattan. Great to have access to full kitchen shared communal spaces. "
