"I’ve stayed at the Inn on St John many times. I have a long commute from home to Portland. I stay when the weather is bad and the travel is dangerous. I like to stay at the inn because the it very affordable, comfortable and very easy to check in, find food nearby and relax in my room. "Overall a very positive stay. The staff and the cats were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and the location was excellent. Only mild negative was the condition of the room. The sink was clogged and despite a request was never fixed. The blinds were missing a slat allowing guest to see into the room. Despite this the positives far outweighed the negatives. Kudos to Trent, Patrick and the rest of the team. "

"We had an incredible one night stay at the Hotel Ruby Marie. The room was comfortable and very nice (room 26). Staff was friendly, especially in café for breakfast. We also checked out the attached bars and had amazing late night burgers ($5!!!!). You made our trip great, if we ever make it back to Madison-- this is where we will stay.
