"The Rubens is a fantastic hotel. We only stayed one night, but will definitely stay there upon return to London. The location cannot be beat, only a block or two from Buckingham Palace. The staff absolutely could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They really were fantastic!! The room was comfortable. We had a view of the Royal Mews. Breakfast was amazing. I really cannot say enough nice things about the hotel. Highly recommend!"

"Although our room was spartan in decoration, the staff were exceedingly friendly, kind, and accommodating. I would have liked a bit more storage space and two bottles of water rather than one. The rooms were made up quickly. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The bar had a tremendous selection and a knowledgeable bartender. Also, the food was very tasty. The concierge was a miracle worker. Great if you’re on your own but I’m certain your partner will not appreciate the noise and smells that your morning routine will create! The rest of the hotel is 5*. Great staff but it’s no good having the toilet basically right next to the sleeping end of the bed!"

"This is a fantastic location. It’s easy to walk to Piccadilly and the West End. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The underground is across the street, there’s a bus stop a block away. Our room was very nice, and clean. But we had a door to an adjoining room and the people next door had a baby who started crying at 5am every day and we could hear it clearly. Also, the park view means you are on the busy street so unless you really need to see the park, save some money and don’t get...
