"room was a tad hard to locate due to confusing numbering signage so had to go back down and have someone show me where it was but then after that room was good. a bit on the small side but it was just me so all good. Room does not have A/C but a fan was running in the room when I got there and there was water to drink. Water was in a warm room and not refrigerated so didn’t drink it but still a nice touch."

"Management did not respond to us after a night where we were woken up by other guests; we made reasonable inquiries and as soon as the topic turned to a partial refund, communication ceased. The room was well air-conditioned, which is nice for London. As well the main lobby is quite posh."

"The hotel is beautiful and an amazing location. The breakfast was incredible! We had a really quiet room. The only issue is that our room was supposed to be with two beds. We arrived and there was a playpen in our room (weird) and it was a queen. We asked for two beds but they said they upgraded us to a room with a window so it was just one bed. "This is a grand old railroad hotel. It is right at Victoria Station so you cannot beat the location. Upkeep seemed good. The furniture in the room was a bit odd, black stained inexpensive pieces. There was no artwork in the room which was unusual. The staff went out of their way to help with things like catching a cab or setting up wifi."

"The staff is by far the most customer-friendly & helpful I’ve met in past 4 years of periodic travel. Offered great dining tips, held our luggage & carried it out to the curb for us. That’s a definite 11 on the Spinal Tap scale. The room unfortunately had a few flaws which made our stay a bit uncomfortable.
