"Suite was newly decorated, clean and had everything I wanted, including a little balcony with a great view of the city. Just a 10 min walk from the bus terminal - although uphill - no need for expensive cabs. Desk staff cheerful and helpful. It’s a suite hotel so no amenities such as a restaurant but right on main drag, which has everything. Silent at night. "

"Comfortable two bed apartment. Well stocked with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Opted for harbour view and the view was excellent. Also the sky tower was very close. Easy walking distance to harbour, ferries, shopping and plenty of choice of restaurants and bars. On a couple of occasions there were a couple of dodgy looking people around but otherwise a lovely place to stay."

"Excellent hotel on the outskirts of Auckland, making it very easy to get on the motorway going south. The hotel itself is very comfortable, with large rooms and a lovely restaurant. The bar didn't have that many seats, but we could bring our (delicious!) drinks up to the rooms, which was our preference anyway! Breakfast was included, but we had to pay extra for parking, which we found a bit surprising, as this hadn't been made clear ahead of time."

"Very convenient to downtown CBD. Nothing amazing but clean and comfortable. The EOS cafe - exit the hotel, turn right, and look for the sign to the arcade - did a great long black! Turn left and cross the road for the New World Supermarket with snacks and alcohol."

"My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay here at the proximity the staff very helpful our rooms were clean and catered to the needs of my family and i have no problem recommending the proximity to friends and family and now when i do visit Auckland again the proximity would be our preferred hotel thank you once again to the staff here at the proximity "
