"Absolutely perfect. Right on the beachfront with options for where to eat and swim. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Cocktails in the pool, drinks at the tropical beach bar, and a stellar dinner at the glass bar. The price is so reasonable! We loved that families could be shouting and having fun at the pool, while we were listening to live jams at the Tropical Beach Bar"

"Les photos sont trompeuses et les logements vieillissants. Il ne reste qu’une piscine dans le resort. Un bâtiment a été rasé. Des logements sont en rénovation. Les chambres sont datés, vétustes. L’île de Tioman étant magnifique on oublie un peu la déception de l’arrivée. Ce Berjaya n’est pas digne de la chaîne d’hôtel Berjaya. "

There were some minor things like a broken drawer and the shower temperature was difficult to adjust— it was either ridiculously hot or cold one of the nights, but seemed ok the other nights. There was an in room electric kettle, which was used often. There was also a coffee machine in the room. A self service convenience store on property was appreciated. There’s also a cafe on property. Plenty of refrigerator and freezer space. Plates, cups, utensils,...

"The property is great, the only concern was the waste coming from the sea and polluting part of the beach, covered in some point by garbage and plastic. It was a shame since the rest is truly beautiful and well maintained. "
