"This is a beautiful old hotel in a spectacular location with every room having a fabulous view of the lake and the church on the island; very clean, charming staff, lovely large bedroom and good bathroom; BUT. we had the hardest bed we have ever had AND for the three nights (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) we were staying, there was no bar and no restaurant functioning for anything other than breakfast. "The property is located on a small street and there is almost no view of anything except the building across the street and there are way too many levels to negotiate. I was OK, but older people will find this inconvenient. The rooms are of a good size, very clean, with veranda. Not really kid safe because of open electrical outlets that kids can get into. Plenty of free parking. "
