But be advised, the street below is very energetic and alive with sounds, so our sound machine at night was helpful. The room was lively and had all that we needed, the breakfast was exceptional. "The Apartments were great for our one week stay. Having the extra space compared to a hotel room was greatly appreciated. The apartments were clean and well maintained. The location is perfect since you’re less than a 5 minute walk to the Duoro River, Don Luis Bridge and many restaurants. The only small confusion was where to check-in and access the apartment on the first day since you have to check- in at the main hotel and then cross the street to get to the apartments. "

"Our room at My Ribeira Guest House was the perfect stay for a couple of days in Porto. It was very cozy, yet hip. The provided turntable was a very nice extra touch. We listened to Fado and old Disco while the light rain splattered outside. We had everything closeby at a walking distance; the river and bridge, the old town, shops and restaurants. The staff also pointed us in the direction of the neighborood of Aforada, where we ate incredible seafood in a small-town setting. Highly recommended. "
