However be prepared to hire a luggage porter (they work 24 hours a day) to bring your luggage up and down because the nearest place a car can drop you off and pick you up is 150 staircase steps plus some uphill walking away. There are 90 staircase steps to the nearest street which only mopeds can drive on and then another 62 staircase steps to the front door. It was a trek we only did once or twice per day max. "We loved our stay at the hotel savoia! The reception was warm and very helpful! The room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent. It is convenient to walk down to the beach- about 10 minutes past the shops via ramp and then stairs. We had drinks on the balcony next to the restaurant one night and dinner the next night in the restaurant. All fabulous! Would highly recommend!"

Our bathroom shower featured a rainfall head, a separate waterfall head, and a separate hand-held faucet. The balcony/terrace was adorned with large plants as well as a table and chairs as well as chez lounges. Everything was first-rate."

They answered all of our questions and helped us navigate town. The beach club was awesome and the food was wayyyyy better than we could have imagined. Each room was equipped with a beach bag & towels to use at the beach. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you stay here you will not regret it!!!"
