"The property is amazing, and I was especially fascinated by the old elevator. Both the dinner buffet and breakfast were excellent. "In many ways, a standard business hotel--but one in an exotic and interesting location. My room was fine, but the views of the lake and the hills/mountains opposite were really nice. Just be sure to keep your sliding doors locked: there really are monkeys and they really can get onto your balcony ..."

"The place was well looked after, but not close to town. The staff were great. Only complaint would be the breakfast was not a buffet. You had to order it the day before. This is not a reflection of the hotel but a lot of monkeys. Do not leave anything outside. My aunt had a top and make up bag stolen. ..."

"Sanjaya went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay. He provided a takeaway breakfast at 4.45am when we wanted to go to Horton Plains and always made sure we were okay. Lovely secluded stay!"
