"A historic gem. Our room was huge as well as the bathroom. It really felt like you were staying in a castle. It was spotless, so clean. And breakfast was fabulous with real linen and Royal Albert China. Breakfast was in the original 16th century kitchen. Just the most fabulous stay ! Make sure to ask to see the chapel. "

"We spent a nin bnb properties all wonderful but it was so nice to be back in a regular clean hotel. Great bed ..firm. my room had a balcony ... check in great , included breakie great..they even had fresh eggs you could soft boil ..never seen that before. I hosed the breakfast time and showd uo at 6:15 ..the weekend it starts at 7:30. The gent setting it up graciously allowed us to participate early. Parking was great but hard to find at first... under the building but entrance is ALL the...

"A little far from the main attractions maybe 15 minutes walk. Hotel is very basic but clean and ok for 1-2 night stay. Parking is very good and great for medium/large suv, right in front of the reception based on first come basis. I can imagine it will be packed on peak seasons. Will book again for short stay overs."
