"A great central location for a weekend break in Masham. The barn was modern and clean and big enough for us as a family of four. Everything we needed was provided. We had come early evening following the Polar Express (Wensleydale) train ride in December, so it was a bit cold and took a while to heat up with its big rooms/high ceilings. However, by the next morning it was warm and cosy. Would stay again and definitely recommend "

"Communication was lacking on this booking. I didn’t receive an email beforehand with details of how to obtain key to the property, after reaching out i did get it just in time for our arrival. The cottage was plenty big enough for 4 of us but we found that the cleanliness was not up to our standards. "The first time we have stayed here, the cottage was so lovely, warm homely and clean. We only had to walk around the corner to The Blue Bell Inn and had a wonderful meal. The village is a hidden gem, we chatted to some of the people in the village and they were so friendly. They had a Street Fayre today, which is what they do every year on the second Sunday of June, unfortunately we had commitments, we had to leave early, however we do plan to book the cottage for next year and stay longer. "Lovely cottage set on the doorstep of Hackfall Woods, situated to the rear of the local pub (closed at the moment for refurb) and next to the church. There is little outside space, just a bench to the front of the property but when you have so much on your doorstep this really is not an issue. Property had everything you needed and more, beds were comfy and it was clean throughout. Hosts were easily contactable.
