"The room I had was huge. It was around the corner from the elevator which had an annoying loud beeping when the elevator arrived. It woke me up throughout the night. You could hear people talking in the hallway, especially at night. It sounded like they were right outside the door….not sure if they were or if they were waiting for the elevator. "This classic hotel is gorgeous. It is well-maintained and clean. Staff is amazing--incredibly helpful, polite, pro-active, and efficient. Some of our issues in getting to the hotel are not the hotel's fault--there is a lot of construction happening in downtown Syracuse and coupled with all the one-way streets means that if there are no on street parking spaces in front you'll spend the next 15 minutes at least driving around. Their parking garage adds $19 a day to your hotel bill and the garage...
