"An amazing stay run by a rop notch family owned hotel group. Staff is superb. Bedding like a cloud of comfort. Restaurant is 5 star and even produces a delicious vegan course selection on request. Grounds are beyond description. Inner formal gardens surrounded by landscapes complete with wild horses! Excellent indoor pool and spa. Great place to take a nap. Will return for sure. "

"I think the whole problem was perhaps due to a wrong expectation. The online rating and the limited photos gave me an impression this is really a good place. The location is indeed super, and the breakfast is excellent. However, the single room is extremely disappointing and even awkward. It is almost the smallest room that I have ever stayed in. The bathroom is far too narrow. There is no chair, only a stool. No table. Only a small cabin which has a small fridge inside. The window is not tight...

"Our stay was very good, The staff were great and helpful. the reason for the poor result was that one side of the bed was different than the other, it was like lying on a water bed. very uncomfortable. other than that great."

"Great friendly couple running the place. Rooms and property are well managed and clean. Breakfast is prepared by yhe owner and you have thr choice of trying regional foods as well. Around the area there are spas and amusement parks, so there’s plenty to do."

"Perfect hotel for the pandemic (no restaurants) so an apartment-style hotel with our own kitchen was the perfect place to stay. The apartment itself was very large, nicely furnished and warm during the winter cold snap we experienced. "

Dislikes included some lights not working in the room, person checking me out was clueless, absolutely no Wi-Fi signal in the room but was available in the hallway, different pieces of wall trim both in the hallway and room were hanging loose and shower barely worked. One of the worse hotels I have ever stayed at."

"The Parkhotel is an old hotel with character and well-kept up. The location is good: beautiful nature and quiet but in walking distance from center. We stayed in a nice and spacy junior suite. The only problem was that the airconditioner did not work - fortunately it was not very hot during our stay. Staff is very fiendly, breakfast is excellent and the swimming pool and wellness facilities (big sauna and steam room, hot and cold showers) are wonderful. "
