"Absolutely excellent experience here. We arrived 2 hours late, at 0330, and they were welcoming, and even upgraded us to a suite for the limited time we were there (we checked out that morning!). Breakfast was lovely, staff were excellent, and location is very handy for the station, and autos are easy to come by to get down to the Ganges. Highly rate this hotel! Extremely comfortable beds and extremely clean. Love it. Thank you Arcadia staff."

"Friendly staff, nice accommodations, clean rooms. Water pressure for shower was very low, but it was hot which seems to be rare in India. Restaurant was nice. Walkable area so we were able to discover some local restaurants as well. "

"If you want to be in the heart of Varanasi near the famous temples and the Ganges river, all within walking distance, this is the hotel for you. If you do not like hotels in a crowded noisy area, then you will not like the hotel. We loved it and the location was fantastic. The staff and service was very good. We would definitely return."

"Staff lovely and very convenient to walking to The Ganges. Breakfast very limited…they ran out of coffee constantly, and when served it wasn’t good, and if busy cups and plates. Indian breakfast way better than European (sliced bread and packaged jam). Found a lot of noise in the corridor outside my room when I stayed- but that was fault of guests not hotel. Lovely to wake and watch monkeys playing on the buildings opposite. Would stay again…but not pay for breakfast…"
