"I booked suite with balcony, one king size and a twin size bed, they gave me a simple king room. After insisting I got a king bed and 2 twins in one room, king being in the same room in the loft, so not the suite I was expecting. No balcony. "Just like before excellent service at reception. Large room with spacious bathroom. It is an older hotel that is well maintained. Unlike our previous stay this time we heard noises throughout the night & did not sleep very well, a rude neighbor. In the morning excellent service for breakfast & checking out."

"Stayed here for 1 night on our way up to Cervinia. Close to Malpensa airport, approx 15 min drive, plenty of parking, had a late flight but desk still manned at 23.30. Family room for 2 adults and 2 kids was perfect. Good sleep followed by a lovely breakfast. Several supemarkets nearby (we used Lidl) to stock up before driving up to the mountains. Great price for 4 people inc breakfast. "

"On business I need a nice room, good wi-fi, easy parking, breakfast and attentive staff. The Bussola provides all these. It's away from the centre of Novara, but for me that's not a drawback. There are restaurants within walking distance. Parking is close by in the street. Breakfast is as expected in Italy. There's no bar but beer and other drinks may be purchased from the reception. "The hotel is family owned. You’ll soon find out that the front desk staff and the dining staff as well as back office are all related. The kids are very nice and hospitable and their English is great - certainly better than my Italian. Rooms are clean, comfortable and updated but really no frills and on the small side.
