"Great front desk welcome - however agent announced my room number to others in the lobby. Was given a room where smoke alarm was chirping, next room was fine. Then at 10:30p, building wide alarm went off, I gathered up stuff and left the building, waited for the alarm went off after a while. There was no communication from the hotel at the time of alarm, or at checkout. "

"The building was very secure, requiring keypad entry at the door as well as elevator and a different code for the room. The studio was very clean, and the building itself was quiet. "This place was awesome for my fiancée and I! We were a 5ish min walk to Trader Joe’s, less than 10 min walk to the sealink train, multiple buses and rapid transit! "What I didn’t like: - This property is going through some kind of transition from a short term rental to a hotel? As a result, amenities you would normally find in a hotel are not offered here. "I have stayed several times at the Canyo River Lodge on the Yakima River. Every time I am reminded of how beautiful the Yakima River canyon is and how easy a drive it is from Seattle. The lodge itself is a world class facility right on the river. The suites are lovely, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant has wonderful food.
