"Rooms were not cleaned to a very good standard, lots of bits on the floors, behind sofa and beds. Very dusy in bathroom on window cill. Mirrors were very streaky. Room smelt very musty on arrival even though the windows were left open before we arrived."

"The hosts, Chilly and Keith, are lovely people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. They have a beautiful and interesting home which is obviously loved and well cared for. Everything was very clean and breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options on offer. Definitely a place to revisit 😀"

"Apologies to the knights rest, but we didn't actually stay there. I booked it on the day for 2 nights through hotels.com. However ten minutes before arriving at our destination the hotel rang me to say that they were closed and on holiday themselves. They apoligised and said hotels.com should have checked their diary and not booked any rooms out. They would be putting in a complaint via Expedia.
