"Unfortunately, we were unable to experience the full hotel and they had a gas problem and the rooms were going to be cold. Upon arrival, they had already made arrangments for us to go to another hotel including the transporation to the new hotel. We had Christmas dinner reservation still at the hotel as the restaurant was open and it was fantastic! Really cring staff, went out of their way and did a marvelous job! "Stay was ok. I thought i had booked a room with a balcony but they gave us a room without a balcony. Not much vegan optjons at breakfast...the kitchen within the unit wasnt well equipped...not enough dishes to cook..stove does not work well, no paper towels or towels to wipe et...otherwise good place to stay for couple of days..."

"This was a small quaint hotel that exuded a psychological comfort. In addition, the employees were very welcoming and friendly. It may lack the bells and whistles of the larger hotels, buy they lack the comfortable sitting room and this hotel's warmth and character."

"Hotel Austral was awesome. The personnel was super nice and helpful with suggestions where to go and eat. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. A major plus that all the personnel at the front desk spoke vey good English. "
