"I needed to stop for the night on a long drive between RI & NC. All I needed was a cozy bed, a hot shower, & peace/quiet, nothing fancy. That’s exactly what I got. Great location off of I-81. Great diner for breakfast right next door."

"We went for a quick getaway, and are already planning a longer trip back with our kids. The staff were so helpful (we forgot all our toiletries) and the setting was gorgeous. It’s a lodge in a national park, not a luxury retreat in Aspen, so accommodations fit the setting, but all in all we were really happy. The only ding is that the mattress wasn’t *great* but we were fine. "

"Room had not been cleaned…. I had to clean it myself. Left dirty towels and soap from last guest. No clean towels/. Requested housekeeping but they never showed. Property says they offer breakfast and an indoor pool but neither were available… No coffee in the mornings either."

"Overall this is a great place and very convenient for going to Shenandoah. The only aspect where I thought things were lacking was the cleaning, as there was a bag of trash left hanging from the door and there was no shampoo. I didn’t discover the missing shampoo until it was too late to do anything about it, which was unfortunate because I really wanted to wash my hair."
