"This hotel is exactly what I was promised - a room with a bed and a shower, friendly staff, close to everything. Thermostat worked, blackout curtains too, getting in and out was easy, everything was perfect no complaints. Yes it’s noisy (it’s in a great location in a bar district) and a bit bare bones - but that’s all I wanted. I’m super happy and will stay again if I’m in Montreal! "

"Property was nice. It was about 5-10 minute walk from a homeless area so if its your first time in Montreal just be aware of were you are walking but the actual property is very safe.Staff were very friendly and spoke english when i couldnt speak french which was very accomdating of them. My only small issue was that it was very cold when i went like -2/-3 and they provide only a small light summer blanket. So i needed to use extra clothes to stay warm at night"

"This place has the nicest staff, its bare bones but the price reflects that. Clean enough, everything is kinda old and dinky. The entire front area and surrounding st is under construction so it was a bit hard to find. I imagine this wont be a problem in the near future. If you need a place to stay thats clean, quiet and safe for cheap you found it. 👌"

"Easy check-in! Beautiful view of the Ferris wheel from my window. Cozy interior and clean. Quick and friendly conversation with Emilie when I had an inquiry over email. I stayed there for business during off season so it was relatively quiet and safe in the area. However, as with all historic buildings, the noise can carry over with other guests closing their unit doors or taking the elevator. The bed mattress in my room was a spring bed, and it was a bit difficult for me to sleep on but overall...
