"If you are looking to hide away and have a quite night of rest this is a good place. It is a family hotel and from what I observed -is a great place to stay with kids. I was here to work on some writing and it was pretty ideal. (I think Agatha Christie might approve.) You can go into Wells for wonderful food and enjoy the walks. The staff here is truly lovely. "

"An oasis near the centre of Taunton - All I needed was a beer, some food and a very comfy bed after a hard day and they obliged in ample measure. Although the chef count was down to one through an absence they still managed to rustle up a nice meal (thanks guys). The bed was huge and the room nice and large. Breakfast was ample. All in all it was what we all seek but find it hard to discover these days - Good Value. "
