"Our room in this hotel was excellent : comfortable bed, clean bathroom, sufficient plugs. We had an excellent night, but be warned - establishments serving evening meals are rare. It may be the season, but this hotel did not serve after 6pm, nor did other hotels close by. Parking is offered at a hotel, which is quite a walk away, and the road is narrow. Outside parking, if you can get it, is to be paid for from 8.00 a.m. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful."

"Really enjoyed my weekend at this peaceful, semi-rural (but within 20 minutes walk of El Escorial train station and 40 minutes uphill to magnificent San Lorenzo de El Escorial) B&B. "The hotel was perfect for a quiet stay in winter in Sierra de Gredos. The room was more than I expected for the price and I love the beautiful, antique style of the hotel and the amazing views. My one *small* concern is that I had to depart at 9:30- reception and breakfast were supposed to start at 9, and there was seemingly nobody at the hotel. I left my key by the front desk, but a coffee before I left would have been nice! "
