"We have just returned following a lovely long weekend in Nerja. 5 ladies travelled for a girls mini break. We had 2 bedrooms in Hotel Toboso Chaparil. A double and a triple room although the double also had 3 beds. The hotel is in a excellent location. Only a short stroll to beach and main town square/area. The main town is all pedestrianized so no cars. Cars are allowed on road outside hotel but you wouldnt even know as it was so quiet at night even with one of our rooms at street level. The...

"We needed a quiet and calm week's holiday. The area was recommended to us and we found the hotel coincidentally. It was not peak season I gathered, which was a bonus as not many people around. I loved the terrace and reading room. if we go that area ever again, I will book the same hotel. "

"it was okay but when I was looking for a hotel in Nerva, this one popped up. So I booked. Little did I know it was not in Nerva but in Maro, so that was a little deceiving, had to change a few things right there, was of course no way to look for something in Nerva directly, so we stayed"

"Absolutely lovely stay, very comfortable room and bed, lovely private terrace, this is a rustic guesthouse with lovely elements, little courtyard, breakfast room, great self check in, plunge pool was sadly empty as we would have loved a dip as it was hot but I assume it's out of season. "It was a great stay, the staff were very friendly, the pool and gardens were attractive and well kept. Playa del Maro beach is a hidden gem and about half hours walk, and the caves are 200m away from the hotel, both a must visit. I felt very chilled out staying there. Big thank you to the staff. "

"Beach front location in quiet village. Lots of lovely places to eat. Right on the edge of a national park. Some very good walks. Beach Is a mix of pebbles and sand. Plenty of sun loungers for rent if needs be."
