"The hotel is conveniently located on route 1, not much around it, we stayed there our last night in Iceland finishing our ring road. We have to say it is just a limited hotel with little amenities, but we had our best lamb steak dinner there during our Iceland trip. "

"Stayed one night. Had issue locking door but staff were quick to rectify it. Nice property just outside of small town with restaurants and cafes. We stopped here between our golden circle day trip onwards to Vik. Room was pretty with a view of the river. No staff on site so check in is via lock box info that is provided day before or so. "Very restful night-quiet and peaceful. Great sunset and breakfast."

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is currently being renovated (restaurant is closed so breakfast is in another hotel 10 minutes walk away) and my room felt like it had been rushed. The bathroom ceiling wasn't finished properly (grout missing from around the tiles and badly painted), there wasn't a night stand next to the bed, had two single duvets instead of one double. Just little things that they should do better for £200+ per night."
