We had several ‘challenges’- the heater in the bathroom only stayed on for 1 minute, the hairdrier did not work, the room was very clean when we arrived but daily room service was poor- only made the bed and changed the towels. "I reserved this room because Expedia lists it as having AC. We stayed in Sept and there was no AC. Were told by the desk they turn it off in the fall. Expedia needs to specify this hotel may not have AC depending on the whim of the owner. Windows open with rain, bad weather, traffic and no bug screens. Pass on to another hotel with accurate description. "

"Beautiful Village,Hotel was well situated and had a good car park and Grounds. Staff on arrival were friendly and helpful.The Bar was small but comfy.The room was adequate and a large bathroom. We had the set meal for our evening meal ,we were asked if there's anything we didn't like ,and that was it 6 courses were serviced all individual ,tasty and filling.The wine was good no complaints. EXCELLENT Meal .Breakfast was good as well after a good nights sleep. We had the set meal"

"There were dozens of bugs in my bedroom. When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. The issue was not resolved and I told them I could not stay at this hotel if they could not find me a clean room. They refused to refund me the value of my stay because it was too late for them to rent out the bug infested room to...
