"The property was dirty with rusted shower head, broken lights, dirty shower tray, cigarettes in the toilet, marks on wall, open roof hatch, broken door and marked bedding. The room smelt strongly of smoke and the windows were dirty. We did not stay and had to find alternative accommodation. The bed could not be used as it was so dirty and the shower unsafe. I have stayed in basic hotels before but this was dirty, smelly and unsafe."

"Hotel Piccolo Giardini is a lovely small hotel up 3 flights of stairs from Corso Umberto I. We had a wheelchair user with us and were able to access via the rear entrance on Via Giovanni Bosco where there are 3 or 4 steps down but there is a stairlift and a lift to all floors in which a wheelchair will fit. Rooms are bright, clean and comfortable. Rooftop views wonderful. Pool small and very cool but welcome on a hot day. The piccolo giardini is a charming refuge. Staff are friendly but this is...

"We had a lovely time. Staff was very helpful. Conveniently located, very walkable area, for shopping, sights and dining. The only negative was, the bed frame extended beyond the mattress and was a constant problem as we kept smashing our knees into it. "
