"I took my granddaughter to Destin for her 8th birthday. She wanted a hotel with a pool and breakfast. Hyatt Place did not disappoint. The hotel was super clean. The buffet was nice. Staff was friendly. The hotel is located near EVERYTHING! The only thing that didn't meet expectations were the beds. The mattresses were horrible. My 14 year old granddaughter was on the sofa bed and everytime she moved, every spring in it squeaked...terribly. Overall, this hotel is a keeper and we'd definitely stay...

"Great view of the beach from balcony, room is clean, quiet, have everything we need to be comfortable for our family of four. However, the trip didn’t start well when we ran into a gate and being blocked from entering the property for about 20 minutes. Should have provided instructions how to avoid gate of nearby properties. Living room carpet is too worn may consider to replace. Master bedroom window needs better shade to block morning sunlight. Overall we enjoy the stay. "

"Great location, right in the center of everything. Family friendly environment, pool area was kept very clean. Across the street to a private beach access. Room was clean, we had the 3rd floor balcony street view. Description says Ocean View but due to the home's built on the beach you lose that "Beach View". Other than that we had an amazing week. Walking distance to pretty much everything. Would differently recommend and revisit again.."

"Building felt secure and was close to the beach. The unit was very bright & clean. Good amount of towels were supplied for the duration of the stay. Bedding was clean & comfortable. Floor to ceiling window & the view was absolutely beautiful! Pool, which includes a waterfall was also nice & clean. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!"
