"Hotel was very good, food and staff were excellent my only gripes are that the advertising on Hotels.com is incorrect meaning you will pay more than indicated. Firstly it says pets travel free yet Hotel stated only first dog is free. To their credit they did not charged extra because I had emailed asking for confirmation that dogs were free as per Hotels.com web page. Secondly we were charged over 50% more each for breakfast than the price quoted on Hotels.com website at time of booking. Someone...

"Beautiful property & fab breakfast. Didn’t use all the facilities as we were exploring the area. Very little English was spoken to us, fine for me but my Mum would’ve struggled. A few more smiles from the staff would’ve been nice too "

"Room was clean abd comfortable. Shower room was great and obviously just been refurbished. Restaurant is in a converted barn, great atmosphere, reminded me of a Jacobean banqueting hall. Food excellent and reasonably priced. 35 euros for 4 courses. We were the only English all others were French locals or visitors. Speaks for its self. Give it a try if travelling down to the South of France only 15 minutes from A5."

"We have stayed at Le Marius before and this time was in line with the lovely experiences we have had before. The village of Ricey Bas is charming. The hotel is conveniently situated just by the church in the centre of the village. Our room was so romantic, with massive beams, and a view of the château. "The hotel is very old and tired. Nothing like the website claims. Does not have a restaurant. Claims to have 2 bars but has 1 limited choice bar. Definitely not for disabled persons as there is no elevator and the stairs are a little awkward."
