"Chan Chich presents a unique experience to the adventurous traveler. We stayed 3 nights at this hidden gem and loved every minute. The lodge is simply gorgeous, our two bedroom cabin was perfect, the food is wonderful, wildlife, mayan history and birding tours are exceptional and the service was impeccable. "

"Beck's Bed & Breakfast is a sweet jewel of a place in a remote region of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Refuge (a birder's paradise). Robert and Becky are warm, incredibly knowledgable hosts and provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of vacation stress and more tourist dense areas. "This is a beautiful hidden treasure of a spot. The staff was fabulous and would definitely recommend BEVL to any bird watcher (new or experienced). Lenny was a delightful guide full of information and a ton of patience. This place even has shoe rags for anyone that ends up with yucky hiking boots"
